just-in-time (JIT) debugging

Guys,
Need some help here. Every now and then I get an on screen message saying:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Could not find file 'C:\Windows\screenshot20035jpg'.

When I look in the Windows folder on my "c" drive I discover there has been taken a screen grab and it is saved as a JPEG Image.

Can anyone tell me what is happening here and can I stop this. I am concerned that someone is trying to hack my laptop.

Please make sure that your System Restore is turned on.

To turn System Protection on or off for a particular disk

1. Open System by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.
2. In the left pane, click System Protection. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. To turn on System Protection for a hard disk, select the check box next to the disk, and then click OK.

Yes did everything you suggested but still I get the pop up window displaying:

Again, in the windows folder on the c drive I find there is a screen grab and it is saved as a JPEG Image.

System restore points are all turned on and the latest restore point being dated 03/12/2009.

OK, well that didn't show me what I was hoping it would.
Delete the HKLMDB.txt that is on your desktop.

Please try this.
Check to see if you have this file.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\vsjitdebugger.exe

If so, rename it to,

C:\WINDOWS\system32\vsjitdebugger_disabled.exe

Restart your computer, check for error.

Let me know.

I searched for vsjitdebugger.exe in C:\WINDOWS\system32 but nothing found!
I also did a full search but again nothing.
