Resolved Importing outlook express mail into Windows 7

Is there a way to import my old saved mail from Outlook Express in my old Windows xp computer into Outlook in my new Windows 7 computer.

I know how to get the mail out of OE but I can't seem to find a way to import it to Outlook.

Is the mail from an Internet E-Mail account? (e.g. AOL,MSN,Yahoo!,GMail)

Yes you can import....You need the .dbx email files and the .wab addressbook....Within WinMail do File Import and point to the folder that contains the files.

I did this when I migrated to 7 many months ago, but had Outlook 2003 installed on the XP computer although it was not used. Imported OE data into Outlook on that computer and then copied the Outlook .pst file across to the Win 7 installation (Outlook 2007).

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.
