On my computer it says the mail will be sent the next time I click the Send/Receive button.

AND - if my email is set to check mail every five minutes - BOOM off goes the mail.

You can always save the mail to the DRAFTS folder and send when ready.

    THANKS STEVE.
I know i can save in drafts ,etc. but suppose you were not going to be home on Christmas or other holiday, but wanted to have greetings go to people on that day.

For Example Did you ever send a Hallmark(or other) greeting card online?? you can set it to send the next day or other time/day you designate.Too bad MSFT did not make that possible.(boo MSFT)
