I have put this into Win2K because I believe this is a Windows error, not an application error.

I have UT2003, and when placing the CD in the drive, and letting it autorun, it comes up with the error, "Installer failed to find file system\core.dll "

I have a copy of core.dll in each folder called system (i have at least 3!!)

And I have even d/loaded a copy from www.dll-files.com but I still get the error.

Windows 2K is currently running on serive pack 2...

Any ideas on how to get the installer to see the file??

I'm running Windows 2000 SP2 as well and there is no core.dll file anywhere on my hard drive. I did a quick Google search about this file and it appears it may be related to the Borland Database Engine (BDE) or packaged with other third-party applications. It appears you're not the only one with this problem .
