Windows XP sp 3. IE 8 - for administrator is show "page cannot be displayed" for user it works. Desktop is using McAfee Internet security. I did stop all McAfee services and it still happened to administrator.

Why would IE work for one user and not administrator?

    any help would be appreciated.

For the administrator it happened on every site. For the user, it only happend when I tried www.google.com.

I found a fix. Microsoft has IE 8 repair tool. I can now access every site except google.com. They can live with that.

    So mark as resolved! thanks!
