Have you tried to turn it on and then off again?

ppeetteerr: I've had the same problem in the past. Do a Search for magnifier and you should find some posts containing answers.

Hello I think I have solved the problem. It seems the mouse can control magnifier. Go into Control Panel then Mouse and then close it from there. It seems to have worked

Magnifier should have a window open (with options) and you should be able to close it like any other application.

Which is your problem -- you don't know how to turn Magnifier off or you don't know how to keep it from reappearing? Have you tested your "fix" on the latter of those two yet?

    Magnifier

    Hi

click Start -> All Programs and check the Startup folder right click magnafier and click delete

    OR

Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Optimise Visual Display

Then uncheck "Turn on Magnifier" and reboot.
