So I had an issue with my DSL Verizon Modem because of a power outage in the area, and it erased the configuration that was set before. To make a long story short, I switched my network from Static IP to Automatic DHCP.

I have a Wireless Canon IP5200R Printer. Suddenly, after configuring all the laptops and desktops to DHCP, all of our wireless laptops in the house cannot send print commands to it. All the printing goes in queue, and then an error. I'm at a loss of what to do. How do I connect to the printer again?

    Any tips?

    Thanks.

The printer probably has a new ip address. You'll have to remove the printer in each comp and reinstall it, or set the printer to its original static ip.

    Alright, I fixed the problem!

First, you have to make sure you have the USB cable plugged in from your Canon printer to any one of your laptops. Then you must download and install the "IJ Network Driver/Network Tool" for whatever version of windows you have here: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/c...oadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=357&modelid=11994

Then you must follow the instructions on the screen. It will automatically set the IP addressing in your printer, and then ALL the rest of the laptops should work. They do for me anyway. I did not need to run the IJ Network Driver utility on each computer. Just one. :)

    Hope that helps!
