    When I go into Explorer, my Toolbar is gone? I have clicked just about every place & can't get it back. Anyone know how I can do this. I have no idea how I lost it. I have a blue strip at the left side & no Toolbar at the top. Just a solid blue line. I am using te Classic Start menu. Thanks to anyone

    Run--> regedt32

    Find this:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar

    Delete the subkey "Explorer ". It will be recreated for you.

    Toolbar back

    Thanks for the info on going into the registry but I am not good at tech stuff so did what I should have done in the first place. I keep forgetting that XP has this wonderful System Restore. Did it this morning & everything back to normal. Thanks.
