I recently had my desktop fixed and I’m now struggling with my LAN, especially with printing from my laptop. This was previously possible.

The desktop is the "˜main" PC. Connected to it is an Oki 4100 printer, a HP Officejet 5610. Both are connected to the desktop with USB cables. Then I have an ADSL modem that is connected to the desktop. Everything works perfectly. I had to re-install the drivers of the printers. I can print on both printers, I have internet connection, etc.

The problem is printing from the laptop. The laptop is connected to the modem by cable and by wireless. I am unable to print from the laptop to these printers, but my internet connection is good.

    I did the following:
Re-installed the printer drivers on the laptop
Changed my Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties from "obtain an IP address automatically" to manual settings

I am for instance able to use Synctoy?!

    Any advice will be appreciated

Only have one connected at a time, else applications such as printer dialogs (and print drivers) may become confused.
