Resolved Sound only works in test

Help.... I just installed a new gigabyte motherboard, new install of xp pro and i have a weird problem.

I only have sound when i use the audio manager demo. It a Realtek HD audio manager and it has test modes and the speakers work just fine. If I go to youtube or any other online site I dont have any sound.

Anyone ever encounter something like this before?

OK, reinstalled the drivers from the MB CD and then (did something I am not sure I did when I initially found the problem), I restarted the PC!

All is now working and sound is great.
