On my favourite "always present" application, i.e. \windows\EXPLORER.exe, I have 3 copies of the "documents" folder. One on top, before Hard Disk C, the second inside C, the third on the bottom, under my user name.

How may I get rid of useless 2 of them?

I'm confused ... ... what do you mean by favourite "always present" application?

There is only one real My Documents folder. It is a system folder and the other representations are coded into the system so that they act much like shortcuts to the true folder. It's for your convenience so that you can easily access the My Documents folder from several sources.

The same provisions exist for each user identity as well.

Thanks for your reply. I knew already that they were copies of the same data,
but I would prefer not to see at least one of them (maybe the one on top of
everything). What I suppose (It might be wrong) is that there could be some option I don't know, to hide part of the "tree" of the contents of my HD.

Instead of using Win Explorer - use My Computer. That should not show the first one;)
