I tried changing the colors of Firefox (Ver. 3.5.5), didn't like what I got, so tried without success to revert to original colors. Tried various themes and color choices on home page; still nothing.

Are color choices stored in a special file? If so, what is it and where? If I delete this file, will Firefox re-create it?

    Thanks.

    How?
    ,
What was different from what you expected?

Probably, but it is not relevant, until you answer the first two question.
The settings are in Tools|Options|Content|Fonts and Colors section.
It depends on the site and your settings, which are pretty self-explanatory.
Fonts are set with the Advanced button.

Hi davidcal, If you are using Firefox:
If I have an existing Firefox theme installed, will Personas still work?

Yes, Personas will work. However, it’s strongly recommended that you uninstall a theme when using Personas. To disable a current Firefox theme, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Add-ons" to display the add-ons manager. Then click on the "Themes" button at the top of the add-ons manager window, click on the "Default" theme for Firefox, and click on "Use themeâ€. After a quick restart, you’ll be ready to dress up your browser with Personas.
I went into FAQ and this may help you. Neil.:D

    Colors in Firefox

    Westside:

A thousand apologies. Obviously I was having a brain fart.

I did not realize that two of the extensions I downloaded for FF had color change tabs. For some reason, one of them was overriding the colors I had selected in FF. I was also trying to re-establish colors by modifying my home page, which has an extensive color choice section (which doesn't work well), and that probably confused my computer.

So I disabled the extensions that were the likely culprits (NoSquint and Stylish), and my home page colors immediately reverted to the original. Now I know to look in more than one place when problems arise.

    Thanks for your help. :):)
