I run IE6 on XP and sometimes when I open one or several websites then try to close one of the sites all the windows will close and I have to start my search all over again. Does any one have any suggestions on how to make this stop happening? I normally use webcrawler as a search engine and I might open three or four windows until I find the best site for what I am looking for and when I try to close the others everything will freeze the just go blank. Thanks in advance for any help. Tammy

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Have you considered getting a more secure browser like IE8 and you get to use TABBED browsing....

Hi Tammy, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

I also agree with Steve. IE8 is far superior compared to IE6. I would Download Internet Explorer 8 and see if you like the new browser or not.
