Windows Mail not showing old E-mails

This machine recently had a very mean virus so we had to reload it. After we set up the Windows Mail account again and got it all working, we are able to recieve and sed e-mail just fine. But in the mail pane we do not see all of her old e-mails. When I go to C:\Users\*[username]/*AppData/*Local/*Microsoft/*Windows Mail/Local Folders/Inbox it shows all of her old e-mails in there, just not in actual Windows Mail. When I try to import the messages, I browse to that location and nothing shows up. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this working?

 

We used the System Recovery built into Vista so all old files were placed into Windows.Old
