    Hi friends,

actually I moved to my new room. my houskeeper has a router and also let me to use it. he gave me some information which is needed to connect to internet using my WiFi , like SSID and the password. my lap top is DELL Vostro 1500 and the router device is belong to Telekom and the model is Speedport W 701 V. my lap top can detect the mentioned network but after set all the required settings still I can not connect to internet.
this is the procedure I have followed:
    1. open my Wireless device
    2. open profile, the push "Add" button to add the network.
    3. chosse the propertise off added profile to set the settings.
    4. enter SSID
    5. set the personal security on "WPA-personal(TKIP)
    6. enter password

finally I try to connect but it says that its unable to connect.

It would be highly appreciated if some one can share his knowledge with me to solve the problem. if any one wants, I can also send the pictures of the procedure with I have followed.

before thanks for you attention and help.

    Mehdi
