I installed DVD Shrink to back up the DVD movies I have. One of the movies is so scratched that it won’t play anymore so I thought I would burn a copy to replace it. I backed up both the ISO file and the hard drive files. I downloaded the "Free Easy Burn" software to create a new DVD copy but the movie will not load on the DVD player. I am burning the ISO file to the disc but nothing is happening. What am I doing wrong and how can I get my backed up movies burned to play?

An ISO file is an image file - to burn to DVD you must use the burning software's option to 'Burn Image'.

What are iso files, and how do I open them?
If the data cannot be read by your player it is unlikely that it can be read by your DVD drive either.

The data can be read in order to burn it. I have just not been able to burn it properly to have it run on my DVD player. I will look for the "Burn Image" option on the software and try that. Thank you for the advice.

If you still are having problems making a backup of your own DVD using Shrink and your DVD burning software you could give DVDFab a try. Has free 30 day trial. http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm
