Packard Bell used to have a Horrible reputation when they were sold in the States.

Quick glance at the specs - looks nice.

You generally can't overclock Store bought pc's like that. They come with a generic user friendly BIOS that keeps people from DESTROYING the pc;)

Sigh, Tomshardware.com is such a depressing site.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great, if not a fantastic site regarding the info they have, but it is totally depressing when the bench marks for my no-so-top-of-the-line-any-more-video-cards are creeping towards the bottom of the list.

Sooner or later, and i've been say thing for longer than a lot of you folks here have been alive, we should hit some plateau where the hardware will be at the top of the heap for more than 6 months.

The first time I said something like that was when i said "It will be awhile before something replaces these new 386 20MZ Intel Chips." -this was after i had plunked around $6,000 for the bestest of the best. Less than a year later the 486 made its debut.

    LOL

you'd be much better off going down to your local computer shop and asking them what they can do for the same amount unless you pay big bucks for the top of the line from name brand PC's read HP, CMPQ, Sony, Lenovo, Dell then all you really get is a so so machine
