    Hello again.
The other day I had asked how I could replace Windows XP w/ 98se, and got a couple of very helpful responses.
I have given them a try and my results are as follows:
After downloading the boot 98se to a Floppy disc I ran the W.D. Tools again and it asked me to "insert floppy disc" and for some reason it will not read from drive A.
I tried again w/o "tools" only using "boot disc" same outcome, seems to only be reading from drive "E ".
With that in mind, I thought I could try to use a CD...even a DVD...
"MY" own computer now will not even recognize having a disc in either drive when I try to put the boot info on them....
I only hope I haven't done something to my computer.
So, 1) the friend's computer will not read from drive A
    2) my computer is not recognizing having discs in them??????
    Please reply a.s.a.p.
    Thank you so very much.
    Keith

did you change the BIOS to boot from Floppy first, sounds to me you are still set to boot from CD.
