This morning I loaded Firefox to receive a warning and find the page blocked by AVG.

Then I chose a bookmark and browsed to a local (newspaper related) forum and found someone had posted about a similar problem.

When I load the same igoogle homepage in IE I do not get that warning.

Is there any word on an issue with AVG and Google, or AVG and Mozilla?

Here is the warning I am getting --

I am reasonably sure the IP address it is showing is not mine, but how that works is slightly beyond my pay grade so I x'ed out the IP.

It could be another conniption like AVG and Zonelabs had last year, and then again, it could be a real threat.

Thoughts on what is going on with here?

So whatever caused this dilemma was corrected during the day while I was at work.

About what I figured would happen.

FWIW, whenever I've installed AVG on my clients' systems I did custom installs and did not install the Safe Search stuff because I found it had slowed down browsing. It's not hard to tell if search results are safe or not, just hover the cursor over the link & view the url in the status bar. If it's different than the green link in the search result then don't go there. And stick to well know sites when searching for stuff. One learns what the common informative sites are in time.
