I just downloaded an upgrad (Ver. 7.1) to my CAD program and now when I try to open the program I get, of all things, an Internet Explorer Script Error! It says 'Object doesn't support this property or method'. Then it says, 'Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?' It doesn't matter whether I click yes or no the program won't open! Any ideas other than reloading Ver 7 from the CD?

I would run the IE Repair Tool. It seems to me updating your CAD may have replaced a newer version of a IE dll file with an older version.

I hate sounding dumber than I could be but I don't see an IE Repair Tool. Where might it be?

Control Panel\AddRemove Programs, double click on Microsoft Interner Explorer and Internet Tools, a window will open up, select Repair Internet Explorer, then click on OK. And no, you will not be removing IE. Reboot when prompted.

:) Thank you Mark62, that worked like a charm! I find it interesting that Windows Help has nothing referring to the IE Exploder Repair Tool. I suppose that is a tacit admission of imperfection.
