I used to know how to view the desktop With OUT icons cluttering it up. I forget how I did it. I do NOT wanna DELETE anything. I just want them gone temporarily. I have great wallpaper & can NOT see it through the clutter. Also, I do NOT wanna run desk top Clean-Up.

So, I wanna view the desktop With OUT icons. Then I can take a screen shot, then put the icons back.

    Thanks
    RR

Only way I can think of is to cut and paste out of the desktop folder to somewhere else. when done, put 'em back.

Right-click the Desktop, "Arrange Icons By... ", and uncheck "Show Desktop Icons ".

Glad you're all set. Don't we always try the hard way first?
