    Hi guys,

I've had a bit of a search, but I think my question is a bit basic. This is probably a simple question, but I can't quite get my head round how it works, so can someone explain this in basic terms for me?

OK, at the moment we have a desktop in our house, set up to use Outlook Express for our NTLWorld email.

My wife has a laptop and uses Windows Live Mail to access her Hotmail email.

She has just bought Office 2007 which includes full Outlook 2007, and would like to install Outlook 2007 on her laptop, to access the NTL email and her Hotmail (the desktop hardly gets used now, mainly only turned on to look at those NTL emails!)

Now i think I understand the NTL email is set up on the desktop as a POP3 type. I also understand I can access the NTL email via the internet from the VirginMedia website if i wanted to.

    Question 1)
If I set up Outlook on her laptop to be like the desktop for the NTL mail, what happens if she logs onto the internet from somewhere other than our house? Say wifi at college - will it access the NTL email as normal, even though it's not going through our home NTL router/modem? (Or would she have to use web access?)

    Question 2)
Can I set up Outlook to access her Hotmail account at home, to look the same as the NTL email would? I think I read somewhere it can have two Inboxes in the folder structure down the left, is this correct?
And if I can set this up, again, what will it look like when she logs on at a different location to home?

I hope the answer will be it matters not where she is, bacause that would be ideal. She really doesn't want to know how it works, or do different things for different places, she would just like her email to access both accounts, wherever she is, and look the same. Setting it up is left to me

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Question 1) On both machines - account options - Leave Mail On Server needs to be enabled so she can receive the same mail on both machines...

1b) when she is at school - the Account Settings->SMTP section needs to match the Schools ISP settings...and then changed back to home setting when she is at home.
