I have been unable to use a wireless printer at home that had been working just fine. After numerous reboots of my laptop and powering the printer off and on several times I printed the wireless setting directly from the printer. On a closer look I discovered that the IP address for the printer was different than the address listed on the printer port on the computer. I was able to change the port to the correct IP address on my laptop and now it's working fine.

Anybody have any ideas why the IP address on a wireless printer would change? Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening again?

    Printer port IP changed

Do you have the printer assigned as a static IP on the router?
It sounds as if it is not. It is possible for the IP to change if the router reboots.
