Windows Vista Windows Vista and Adobe Acrobat 8.1

    everytime I get a microsoft update my PDF printer says PDF printer (copy 1) and it doesn't work anymore. Can anybody tell me if this is a Windows problem or an Acrobat problem? I get an error message wanting me to reinstall acrobat pro. When I do that it seems to work pretty good until another Windows update come in. Perplexed to say the least. Does anybody have a fix for this problem?

    Oh, and a second note, I have already contacted Adobe and they told me this is a problem I will have to pay for tech support to get resolved. So much for their customer support. Sure wish their was a competitor of theirs.

    I use Foxit Reader which is a very small appliaction compared to Acrobat.

    Yea, as Steve, I abandoned the Adobe bloatware a long time ago for Foxit Reader and Primo PDF for a PDF printer driver.

    Do they do the same thing and are they compatible with all .pdf applications/documents? I have a ton of .pdf documents.
