Resolved Balloon popup for network is chopped off.

    My apologies if I titled this incorrectly.
    On this one machine I have xp pro installed and when I wake it up each morning and the network connects the balloon notification of the connection is cut off? It happens to cut off the little "x" close button on the right so I have to open it to get rid of it. Is there any setting I can change to fix this?

    You can disable those extremely irritating balloon tips using Tweak UI

    Beyond that I have no clue as to the cause of that effect.

    Thank you for the reply. I've installed the Tweak UI, can you tell me which if those menu items on the left in the interface would disable this balloon?

    I'm afraid you will have to go through each in turn - I no longer run XP and Tweak UI does not run on Win 7 - as I recall it's in the main menu rather than a sub menu - Desktop? - Explorer?

    It's under "Taskbar and Start Menu" Settings, uncheck "Enable ballon tips "
