"windows classic style" is missing

    i do not have a setup disc and was wondering if i could download and self install "windows classic style" because i don't want "xp style" themes which is the only one i have now. From what site could i download a new "windows classic style ".

    Windows Classic style is an integral part of Windows and is not downloadable. Try .....

    Start > Right Click Computer > Properties > Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Click the Advanced Tab > Under Performance click Settings > Click Adjust for best performance under the Visual Effects Tab > Apply and click OK

    Without an installation CD your only other chance is to borrow one of the same Service Pack level as the installed OS and make a repair install, using your COA of course.

    Hi SYN, I might be reading this wrong but from what I can tell your asking to go back to
    windows classic style. Have you tried doing this. Click on Start button on your task bar, after go to SETTINGS and click on Taskbar and Start Menu tab. Once there on the top left hand click on Start Menu and put a check in the Classic Start Menu box. I don't know if you have tried this but I hope it helps you out.
