unable to format mp3 player

    my daughters mp3 player now says file system error on her screen

    when i try to open the device i get the message drive not formated

    on the device propeties under file system it says RAW

    when i try to format the mp3 player i get the message unable to format drive windows media player can not find the device neither


    any ideas please

    My best guess, which you will not like :) - is that the drive has failed.

    I second that answer i had the same issue happen with a memory card for my camera, now i copy my pictures off of the new card more often...... so many good pictures lost, even tried a memory card recovery program but all was lost
