MS Outlook sending [duplicate] emails

    Have MS Outlook 2003 for sending emails.
    Sometimes, large emails are sent from my computer with umpteen copies to one person. I had one irate (ex!)friend saying that she had received the same email, dozens of times.

    This is a random problem.

    Any suggestions, please.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

    How large is LARGE that you mentioned?
    Sounds like the mail is getting stuck in your Outbox cause it's larger then what you ISP allows. Is there anything currently in your outbox?

    Thank you Steve - the culprit email was only 2MB so will be within the limits of my ESP.

    The was nothing stuck in the inbox, but I did find that the email had been sent approx 80 times to one person before I could stop it from the out-tray.

    The other person's ISP my have a size limit...Just keep an eye on the Outbox that should stay empty.

    Thanks Steve,
    The other computer is on the same ISP (on same LAN but has a separate account), so has the same 'spec'. We have had friends state that they have received multiple copies in the past, but this time it was multiplication between our 2 computer.

    I think this is gremlin with Microsoft, so I have changed over the Mozilla and so date have had no more such problems.
