how to change picture size

I go to photobucket and hit edit and enlarge pic to the largest size I hit copy and when I paste it to email it comes out the size of my pinky nail and I keep my nails short. I Need to find out how to get into the system and resize the photos there has to be a way.

I am crying over this windows vista seems a new problem occurs out of the blue without my messing with settings or anything. I would return it and exchange it if I could

 

If you're using outlook for your e-mail, click the picture:

- After pasting, click the picture once.
- Format > Picture > Size
- Use the "scale" options to resize the photo.

Make sure that "lock aspect ratio" and "relative to original picture size" are selected for the best results.

 

I can't even do that now it won't even paste nothign comes up

 

What e-mail client are you using?

 

I am using yahoo also I cannot paste to forums says some settings are messed up the pic doesn't even come up.

 

OH I finally got something to paste adn I right clicked and chose large size. The square got bigger but nothing was in it. The pictures aren't really copying

Out of my depth. I'm not sure you have the kind of control over images inside a web-based e-mail like you would in Outlook.

And, as far as I understand, you can only do that kind of editing in Outlook because you're using MS Word as an e-mail editor. Without the editing capability [like yahoo, which does not], I don't know if you can edit like you want.

Someone smarter will likely come along to correct me soon, though.

 

whoa I used to be able to copy and paste actual pictures to yahoo and gmail. The problem isn't with yahoo or gmail themselves. It is actual pictures that the settings are off. I have to get into the settings for pictures somehow and fix it. I don't know how to get into the system to do this.

I go to where ever I keep my pics which is in 3 different places and resize them to the largest size but they still come out as little tiny empty squares. 3 days ago I was able to email regular size pics. I dont know what happened to the size or how to fix it. I know someone out there does and I hope they read my post and can help.
