My brother has a Sony laptop with Vista Business on it. He is getting the following:
    File: \Windows\system32\kdcom.dll

Widows failed to load because the kernel debugger DLL is missing, or
    corrupt.

    Windows Vista Business
    Any ideas?
    Thanks quickshot

Run Startup Repair from the Vista DVD.

Sorry so late in replying but have been away from a computer. I guess my brother has installed Windows 7 as he could not repair the Vista. Thanks for your replies.
