Hey, I tried uninstalling my ATI things and uninstalling the drivers and for some reason the screen goes black like halfway through the uninstallation and the screen ends up going black and I see the mouse cursor and my Itunes keeps going except that I can't see anything and I end up waiting 10minutes and closing my pc by pressing the power button. Then the things that I was trying to uninstall end up still being there. Same goes for when I update my display driver. This is really weird though because it never happened before when I uninstalled or installed drivers.

Remember that you will be removing the drivers and program that run your graphics, but it sounds like strange behaviour anyway.

    Try this,
at startup boot to the Startup Options Menu (F8), like if you were booting to Safe Mode, but select Enable low resolution video (640 × 480). You should then be able to run the uninstaller without the screen going black.

If you have any trouble when you restart, make that selection again. Then run the installer (as I said, the original installer is probably the most likely to succeed).

    Matt

Okay I'll try the Safe Mode way, by the way when I insert he CD from Dell that has all the original drivers and utilities the scan says that I don't have any video drivers installed so I'm really confused right now.
