I've tried to run a video clip from a powerpoint 2000 slide. The black box appears but no video image. The *.mpg runs in Windows Media Player 6.4 no problem. Is there any settings I need to check?

    Hiya

Is the slideshow created in PP2000, or another version, and imported into 2000?

    Regards

It was created in the PP2000 that I'm using to run the slide show. It's currently the only slide as it's the most important bit. So if it doesn't work!! I tried a *.avi and it worked now problem. The other thing is that my PC is running Win98SE. I'm trying to find a Win2000 system to see if that makes a difference

    Okay

I'm using Win2000, but only have the viewer on my system, for PowerPoint.

If you want, you can email that one slide to me, and I can see if it works. If its totally confidential, I'll understand if you don't want to. But if you do, I'll PM or Email my email to you.
