XP Media Center 2002 - SD Card Autoplay

Im tryin gto help a friend whose husband "cleaned up" the computer (deleted cookies etc) and now when you put a SD card in the built in slot it does not run the program it ran before, which I am guessing was a media center program (not media center itself - green button).

I tried going to the control panel and checking the properties on the drive letter and it has "prompt for action" checked but that didnt help.

Anyone have experience with this OS?

Perhaps Microsoft's Autoplay Repair Wizard will do the trick.
