UltraEdit 11 Install

    Greetings!

    I purchased UltraEdit 11 sometime ago. Earlier in the week I reformatted my system and started reinstalling my software. When I try to install UE the self-extractor screen flashes, then nothing. If I relaunch the installer it tells me that another instance is already running. Nothing shows up in the task manager. I even let it sit over night to see if something would happen, but nothing.

    I wrote the authors, but haven't heard back yet.

    I installed the newest version, but my SN doesn't work, and I don't want to pay again for an upgrade I don't need.

    I've also tried installing in Safe mode, but same results.

    Any suggestions?

    Unfortunately, it didn't work. No entry there for UltraEdit. Handy looking utility, though. Thanks!

    Any other suggestions?

    You could try removing all references to Ultra Edit from the Regisrty - I suggest the uncrippled 30 day trial of jv16PowerTools - Find in Registry and be sure to make the backup offered.

    As always you ferret in the registry entirely at your own risk :)
