    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

I'm guessing that you've installed Outlook on the Vista machine...

On the XP Machine - open Outlook and click File->Export and follow the prompts..Copy the file you created to the Vista machine and File->Import.

    Steve,

Thanks for your response. Am I correct to assume that I should install Outlook on my Vista machine and use it rather than the Vista options?

I would prefer to use Vista, I have imported my contacts and bookmarks. I have not be able to import my email messages nor my calendar from the XP 32 bit machine. Somewhere I saw an ad for Software that would convert my calendar but it was $14 or $ 15 dollars and I'm cheap.

Sure sounds like you'll have to install Outlook if you want all the calendar and emails.

I have concluded that it is not possible to import a calendar from Windows XP to Windows Vista calendar. Alternatives may be to run Outlook on the Vista machine or spend some money to buy a program which might work. I have not tried it. I manually created my calendar in Windows Vista.
