    I think we need just a bit more information before we can offer any help.

    What kind of disk--floppy, CD or harddisk?

    Are you trying to read a PC floppy on a Mac or are you trying to reformat an empty Mac-formatted floppy to a PC format?

    Or are you trying to install a Mac operating system on a PC harddisk? (That can't be done, btw. Well, maybe it can but the computer won't work. ;) )

    Let us know more and I'm sure somebody can help.
