Resolved Outlook Express 6 -Deleted items missing in folder

I wanted to find a recent deleted item in the Deleted Items folder but everthing had been deleted in the folder except a few files from the past day or two. As far as I know I can only delete items if I empty items in the folder or delete them again if they are in the folder. Is there anything that might empty the folder without my knowledge? I use Onecare security software and I have RegCure which does delete some things but don't think it does the OE folders. There are 3 identities for OE and only one had the files missing. The other two still have the deleted files in the folder.

 

I see that but wasn't checked. I did hear from regcure who said the Paretologic program, privacy controls, does remove these files if not unchecked, which is what happened. Thanks.
