I am not sure if I am having a hardware problem or not but I thought I would start here.

Last night my computer locked up while coping files, I didn't think anything of it and just turned it off and went to bed.

When I started the computer today I got the following error....
    Missing file windows\system32\config\system

When I tryed to run repair from windows xp disk I got the following error
    0XF78D663C, 0XC0000034

I have to dig up the specs for my computer but it is a Dell XPS 410, 4 GB ram.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks that helped. I hooked up my harddrive to another computer and copied the system files.
    Got me up and running.
