Resolved computer information

    hello,

    when I open the system properties I come up with the following information...
    microsoft windows xp
    home edition
    SP2
    HP Pavilion inter(R)
    Pentium(R) 4 CPU
    2.93 GHz
    1.93 GB ram
    ....

    I understand all the other terms other than this..'2.93GHz'
    what is this '2.93 GHz'? what does it signify?

    That would be your processor speed. You have a Pentium 4 CPU running at 2.93GHz. Hopefully, that answers your question.
