desktop image changes from center to tile

    In a fresh install of XPP on an IBM 3.4GHz, 1Gig of Ram - fully updated I have set the desktop image to center but every now and then on startup the image has been changed to tile displaying 4 copies of the image.

    I change it back but it reverts to tile but not always.

    Any thoughts out there?

    That's a strange one...The hard part is we could suggest 87 different things and might know for days if they worked or not...

    Might try a different image?

    True - I shall try a different image but I cannot see why that would be the issue. I have never seen this before.
