Resolved Outlook Express 6 no color font(xp pro)

    Help please- had IE 8 which caused more problems than it was worth. Had no color font. Removed IE 8 and went back to IE 7. Still no color font! Have done all the proper setting under tools.

    Is the Mail Sending format set to HTML - Tools > Options > Send?

    Rummaging around the Web I came across this possible solution ....

    Control Panel > Accessibility > Display tab - is High Contrast checked? If so uncheck it.

    When did you last have the colour font option- IE 6 ?

    What happens in IE when you go to Tools->Options->APPEARANCE Color button?

    Had color with IE 7 when installed IE 8 it was gone, went back to IE 7 and the color did not come back. Appearance: the "use windows colors" is unchecked.

    Glad to hear it is sorted - unfortunately it would seem that you were one of the few who experience trouble with IE8.
