DeskTop Problem

    Please can anyone help??
    on my xp pc i have 3 people and when i went into the newest member it came up with a desktop error but it flashed so fast that i didn't manage to rectify it then but had to manually chance appearance etc
    but here is my problem if i have to reboot the pc when i log on all the letters are HUGE then the pc makes a noise and they all revert back to normal i have checked my setting and they seem fine
    what have i messed up ???
    please anyone its one of those things that is starting to really annoy me

    Maria Jane,
    If this desktop anomaly only happens when U log the newest person on then I suggest you delete that profile and recreate it.

    If it happens all the time, it may be that your PC is initially booting into VGA mode instead of SVGA made. I would download the latest XP drivers for your video card, uninstall the current drivers, remove the card from the device manager and let windows redetect the card and install the latest drivers you downloaded.
