Resolved How do I retrieve my old outlook 2007 emails

    I upgraded my OS from Windows Vista Home edition to Windows Vista Business edition. I have loaded back my office 2007 but I don't know how to retireve my old emails. I have tried importing without success. What do I do?

    You'll have to copy your old .pst file back in place, or use import/export to add to the current .pst file.

    You can find th location of your PST file by clicking the Mail (32-bit) icon in control panel.

    How do I retrieve my old outlook 2007 files

    I still can't locate the old files. When I opened the Mail (32-bit), it takes me to my current mail profile. The big problem for me is that I can't locate the old files.

    Did you make a backup of your PST file?

    It sounds like you didn't upgrade from Vista HP > Business, otherwise there wouldn't have been the need to re-install Office, so if you formatted and then installed Vista Business, you'd have lost your PST file if you didn't back it up before.
