Just curious ... Will Win2k with a slipstreamed SP3 update WinME now? (The orig Win2k would not update ME since ME came after the 2k issue)

    Thanks

I doubt that it will. Microsoft tends to keep their system upgrades paths the same through a release.

Also I tend to go down the road of upgrading will in the end break your system. Regardless of which OS you run, (Linux or Windows), upgrading an OS to a new version try's it's best, but in the end something is broke or missing.

Well, I just tried to see if Win2k sp3 (slipstreamed) would indeed attempt a WinME 'upgrade' and Win2k did offer to do an upgrade. Interesting ....

    Have fun!:D
