how do i set up ftp server on winxp??

 

Not to be sarcastic gasolene but do it exactly like you would on 2K-pro and pretty much like you would on NT4.

For specific help, give specific information.

1. What FTP server software will you be using?
2. For internet use or strictly intranet (LAN)
3. If internet, do you have a static or ISP assigned and temporary IP address?
4. If internet, does your ISP allow FTP or do they block TCP Port 21 (the default for FTP traffic)?
5. Do you intend to allow anyone to connect or restrict to users with an account and password?
6. And so on.
