I somehow lost the mapping to my second XP-Pro computer. I've mapped various computers dozen of times.

I can set up the sharing on the Host without a problem. But when I go to the Client via My Network Places > View Workgroup Computers and then click on the Host icon and then the shared C-drive and try to map it I get the following Windows error:

"The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: Not enough server storage is available to process this command ".

I looked it up on the MS website and found the following topic which describes increasing the IRRSTACK size. I created the file in the registry per the instructions and tested values all the way up to the max of 50 but it had no effect.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

Are you getting an Event ID: 2011 in the system log?

After making the registry change, did you reboot?

    Hi Ari,

Yes, I did reboot after making the registry changes.

I looked in the Event Viewer > System (right place?) and there are no entries from 11:00am which is when I just made another stab at mapping. I tried it several times earlier and also didn't see any listing (I rebooted just to be safe).

So if yo don't have the 2011 Event error, the solution doesn't apply & you'll have to look else were.
