Can't send or receive outlook express

    All of a sudden I can't send or receive outlook express, no error message, it just goes to outbox and stays there.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

    The odds are that you have a corrupted Outbox ....

    Search for *.dbx - include hidden files and folders - close OE and delete Outbox.dbx

    It will be recreated when OE is next opened - test.

    Hi Pete, thanks for response, I am afraid I need more info, how do you get to outbox.dbx to delete it?

    As I posted - standard Windows search ....
    Windows Explorer > Search > All files & Folders - in the 'All or part of the file name' box type *.dbx ....

    'Look in' - your C:\ drive

    Then click on More advanced options and check the first 3 items ....

    Click on Search

    When the Search results are shown right click on Outbox.dbx > Delete

    Remember - OE must be closed before deleting

    Restart OE and test.
