I have a problem with Vista remembering what infomation I want in folder views in each folder. Such as my MP3 folder settings always resorts back to ratings, album and author after restart. Since I don't need ratings why does it keep defaulting back? I've checked and unchecked remember each folders settings but for some reason it never does. (SATA 1 TB WD storage drive).

Thanks for the info. I'm going to the hack as that seems to be the best way for me. It's funny, it only happens on my T drive where everything is stored. This has aggrevated me to no end...
