I have a new issue with my ASUS K8V-MX Mobo.
I recently re connected the front panel wires (removed them and reconnected them back to check for my front panel MIC).
I also went to the BIOS updation screen to check the settings and I found that whenever I Exit the screen with No save option, it keep beeping continuously and stays on that way, unless I switch it off manually.

If I make a change on the screen and select "Save and Exit" it exits without any beeps and restarts - normal function.

Even when I select Esc = "Discard all changes and exit" its supposed to exit and restart but it doesnt and stays on beeping with the same screen on.
What could be the issue here ? Is this a warning message for some part failure ?

The computer works perfectly fine when windows boots up !!
    Thanks a lot
    Alex

Try going to the Asus website (I find the Global site is the best) and look up any FAQs for your model. It might tell you in the motherboard manual.

Just a workaround, if you don't make any changes in the settings, it is safe to "Save and Exit ".

It might possibly be giving you a warning. I might look for a setting regarding "Defaults" and use that, but you might want to read in the manual first.

It might need a BIOS upgrade. Use a boot disk style of upgrade, not a "within Windows" style.
