My computer seems to have stopped making automatic system restore points. It makes them at an installation but not the normal daily checkpoints.

This seems to have started after it arbitrarily dumped all previous restore points with no action on my part.

System Restore no longer creating restore points

That is not the issue. System Restore is enabled and will work manually and at installation; it is not creating restore points automatically which it should do when enabled.

I found that and basically it showed that there were multiple actions queued and all the settings buttons were disabled.

I deleted the queued actions and all of the scheduled tasks disappeared as well.

I now need to create scheduled tasks to create restore points automatically but what I don't know is the application to run in order to creat the restore point (the system restore action is rstrui but I cannot find the create restore point action).

    Can someone please advise.
